Jesus Christ is at the centre of Christianity. The word 'Christian' was named after Him for the people who believed He was raised back to life by God after His death on the cross. They were first called Christians at Antioch, in Syria (see Acts chapter 11 verse 26). The same is true of Christians today - we worship our risen Saviour and believe that He died for our sins and that He is in heaven. Jesus preached and taught His amazing words of wisdom SURROUNDED by crowds of excited people, in the synagogue in the MIDST of the Pharisees, the teachers of the Law. When He was crucified, it was BETWEEN two criminals.
Most people like eating eggs, but not too many at once of course. They are good for you, like all the natural foods which our Lord has provided for our pleasure and our health. The YOLK is in the centre of a raw bird's egg. (In our house we like duck eggs!) If the egg is properly fertilised this yellow yolk will nourish the baby bird as it develops. It is its 'food'. Jesus said 'I am the Bread of Life' (see John chapter 6 verse 35), appropriate since bread, in its different styles and from various cereal crops, has been the staple food for countless generations. The yolk is protected by what becomes the 'white' we see if the egg is cooked. And all around it is the shell, like God the Father - in complete control of His creation. The shell is strong (even porous), yet fragile enough to allow the baby to chip its way out, just as we can know the God revealed in the Bible and, by His Holy Spirit, get to know about and love Jesus.
So whether we see the 'sunshine yellow' to remind us of the 'Son of God', or a tiny bird to remind us that Jesus was sent to earth to be born as a helpless baby, like ourselves, we must put Jesus at the centre of our Christian lives and obey the command He gave in Matthew chapter 22 verses 34-40 (also in Mark chapter 12 verses 28-31), which is to love God with all our heart, soul and mind, and our neighbour (our fellow human beings) as much as ourselves. As a bee makes straight for the centre of a flower, so we should long to taste the sweet 'nectar' of Jesus' love and then distribute His 'pollen' to a lost and waiting world.
