When Jesus returns - The Final Judgment
One day (or night, depending on where in the world you are), at a time known only to God, Jesus will return. That will be Judgment Day. There will be a New Heaven and a New Earth, while the contents of Hell will be tipped into a lake of fire.
The Bible tells us that those who believe in Jesus as their Saviour are automatically citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven, spending eternity in a wonderful land free of injustice, illness, cruelty, or any of the other evils that bedevil this world.
Those who were not true believers, for whatever reason, will be judged by Jesus, like a shepherd separating sheep from goats. Based on whether during their lives they’d regularly followed their God-given consciences and pleased God by their actions, whether they’d been kind and forgiving to other people and whether they’d been peace-lovers, Jesus would decide their fate.
If you become a Christian and start following Jesus today, not only would you be taking on a satisfying lifestyle, with the Bible as your source of wisdom and comfort, but you need never fear death.
